We had to wait like 20-25 minutes to be able to eat inside, but it was worth it. The food is delicious and the portion is quite good. They have a really nice tea inside, quite sweet, that is similar to hibiscus flower tea. Staff was friendly, I’ll definitely come back.

The best Karaage I have ever had. This would have been so popular in Japan. I certainly can understand why the owner keeps a small operation with very limited seating and strict rules. All that effort to make this crispy chicken that is not greasy at all. I also ordered a side of House Special chicken skin, but the quantity is way too much for one person (even two ppl is pushing it) to consume. They should name it “blood-clotting chicken skin 血栓雞皮.” The entire mountain of chicken skin is more like Japanese senbei, very light, crispy and not oily at all. But deep down, you know you are eating the skin of more than one whole chicken. I admire their efforts to make deep fried food not greasy at all, but the quantity of that house special chicken skin is more like suicidal than enjoyable. Overall, this is way over the level of souls food. The fruits on the plate makes you feel less guilty and more refreshing. Unfortunately, I finished the fruits way before my chicken skin dish arrived. I would pick this as my last meal.

The curry was absolutely delicious! The fried chicken and pork were so juicy and flavorful that it made the whole meal unforgettable. They even give you free rice with your curry and fresh tea. It’s super affordable and the service is really friendly. The only downside is that the floor is a bit slippery, there’s no linepay, and sometimes you have to wait a bit.

Tucked away Japanese curry joint down an alley. I got there and a line was already there waiting for limited seats inside. First you order from the machine and grab a number. The wait was not too long, about 15 minutes, and you are immediately seated inside the sparse restaurant. While the place is nothing to look at, the food is the real star. The chicken curry rice came fast with a side salad, fruit, and an egg. The chicken is quite crispier than I excepted, but still delicious, and it pairs well with the savoriness of the curry sauce. For just $200 NT, it was a great deal for the portion provided. Definitely recommend to anyone that happens to be in the area.

We got the pork and chicken curry. The chicken was , so tender and juicy! The curry was interesting, it was kind of a Szechuan pepper numbing Japanese curry. I had to get use to it but it got very addicting

When I finally have time to eat here somehow I eat it again for like the third time or fourth time ! Under 200 yuan and I can get four pieces of chicken, rice, of course the curry, a half-boiled egg, two pieces of fruit, and some shredded cabbage. You can have free flow infused water for dine in. And I heard we can also have more rice if we dine in, but I’m not sure. The portions is big enough for Indonesian, so I usually have some leftover to take home. The curry is thick, tasty, well seasoned, with strong enough spices and herbs but it’s not sting your mouth too much. Trust me! The chicken pieces are big! It crispy outside and juicy smooth inside. Very tasty. Even it already tasted very tasty without you dip it to the sauce The place is small but comfortable enough to eat. When the queues is a bit long, I suggest you to just take away bcs sometimes it will be faster. But I don’t think waiting for dine in is also a big deal if you’re not really starving The store is very neat, and the waitress are very nice to the customers. So,I don’t think there is any reason to say ‘No’ when someone ask me to eat this curry again

Many people recommend me this place and they all give great reviews about the restaurant as well, finally one day I finally decided to try it myself. The place itself although not exactly close with MRTs or Buses, but it’s not hard to find, because you’ll immediately see people queueing even before the restaurant is open. They have a machine right outside the door where you can order the food, and you have to order and pay first before you can enter the queue, so no running away or cancellation in the middle of queueing. The place itself is rather small, with few seating only. Many people (understandably) order for takeaways. I ordered dine it with a friend, and we waited for some time but not too long (around 15-20 minutes). The price is very suitable for working people or students, especially in Taipei, I personally think it’s quite affordable, especially with the amount they gave. The food came shortly after we got seated, so it’s still nice and warm. The pork cutlet is very juicy and the curry is seasoned to perfection. They uniquely gave a slice of apple, which helps with the oily nature of the pork cutlet. I also ordered a takeaways and it took me over an hour to go back home, but the pork cutlet is still juicy and crisp, the curry is also warm. Nice packaging there. Overall, no wonder the price has many glowing reviews.

The chicken curry is unreal. The chicken is crispy but not overly oily. The curry is tangy but not overpowering. The portions are huge, and I am American so you know they are big if I think it is big. The vibe is easy going. You just order out front via the machine, which includes English option. Pay cash or card. Took maybe 20 mins. I will return again and again.
